Secret Conflicts
If the client or protected resource you are currently importing had a secret when it was exported, the import process will prompt you to recreate it.
The following screen will be shown when importing a client or protected resource that has a secret
Using this screen you have three choices;
- Use existing secrets Do not update the secret(s) currently set for the effected client or protected resource currently in AdminUI
- Generate a random secret Will generate a brand new secret for the effected client or protected resource
- Manually create secrets Will display the secrets screen allowing you to generate or enter your own secret(s)
If the client effected by the import does not have a secret you will see a similar screen.
Using this screen you have three choices;
- Do not set a secret Do not add a secret to the effected client or protected resource. This will leave this client or protected resource without a secret
- Generate a random secret Will generate a brand new secret for the effected client or protected resource
- Manually create secrets Will display the secrets screen allowing you to generate or enter your own secret(s)
If you use the 'Remember my decisions and apply to all remaining secrets' check box the last chosen option will be used for all remaining clients or protected resources.
Download Secrets
Any secrets created during import will be available to download at the end of the import process.
